We'd love to share with you about a very special day for our Casa de Gracia Team / Los de Atrás Vienen Conmigo Board of Directors.
On December 1st, 2023 we had our 1st Board Meeting plus team event!
It was a wonderfully full day of:
fellowship & meals together
signing of our legal document (more below)
Biblical leadership teaching from our special guest, Pastor John Hull (more below)
a visit to the Casa de Gracia site...the first time for some of our board members!
lots of prayer and praise for all that God is doing and will do in and through this place!
Our meeting marked a BIG step in the process of forming our legal / non-profit entity to become an official Guatemalan Association as all 8 of our incredible Los de Atrás Vienen Conmigo board members gathered to sign the legal paperwork
We are now eagerly waiting for those documents to get approved! Once everything is cleared, Guatemalan businesses and individuals can make tax-deductible donations to change the lives of vulnerable in their own communities 🙌🏼
We also want to say a big "Thank You!" to Pastor John Hull and his wife Sharon for the time and teaching they shared with us that day!! John and Sharon graciously accepted our invitation to come down and share with our group about Biblical leadership.
John is the Lead Pastor at Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. He has also been a church planter in Canada as well as former president and CEO of EQUIP, a worldwide initiative to train and equip leaders. It was a tremendous blessing to have someone of his caliber help us launch our first board gathering with leadership training. It was a big day full of fellowship, business, emotion, prayer, family-style meals and even a visit to the Casa de Gracia construction site! We were so blessed by our time together.

We finished 2023 with so much to celebrate! Excited to see all that God has planned for Casa de Gracia in 2024 ❤️
